How We Integrate Storytelling:

For our client, 4K Score we had a perfect opportunity to use storytelling as a way to introduce the consumer to the product. The storytelling process began with us doing research and finding specific insights into 4K Score’s consumer. We found that when it comes to sensitive topics like prostate cancer, men often keep worries to themselves. They’re lost in thought about getting their prostate checked, a conversation that often happens silently within their own minds. Traditional prostate exams are not only painful but also uncertain. 

With these insights we decided to create a commercial using storytelling that enables our consumer to recognize the issue they face and understand the emotions that would lead them to seek 4K Score as a solution. 4K Score is a blood test that measures PSA levels without the need for a biopsy. Elevated PSA levels indicate a higher likelihood of prostate cancer, guiding men towards necessary biopsies only when needed. This approach avoids unnecessary pain and uncertainty, providing a clear, less invasive path to diagnosis. 

This is exactly what we highlighted in our commercial. By showing a man talking to himself in the mirror, we highlighted the insights, grabbed the consumer’s attention while simultaneously introducing the hero. The man relays the emotions our consumer often goes through; stress, worry, anxiety and loneliness. We then introduce 4K Score as the solution our hero is looking for.
