The problem

As one of the newest restaurants in the Groot Hospitality portfolio, Casadonna had to do two things at once. It needed to establish itself as a fresh, distinct digital experience while still feeling aligned with one of Miami’s most recognized hospitality groups.

The website could not just function. It had to feel both unique and cohesive from the first click.

THE BRAND HAD TO —
01
Differentiate Casadonna from the rest of the Groot portfolio without losing brand cohesion
02
Deliver a seamless reservation flow built for a high-demand dining audience
03
Create a scalable website that could grow with the restaurant’s cultural momentum
02 · THE INSIGHT

In destination dining, the digital experience helps set the expectation for the table.

Casadonna was quickly becoming a cultural hotspot, drawing local attention, visitor demand, and international buzz. For many guests, the website would be the first real brand interaction.

That meant the platform had to carry the same prestige, polish, and sense of place people expected from the restaurant itself while still feeling unmistakably Casadonna.

BRAND PLATFORM
The reservation should begin with the website.

The solution

We built a digital platform that gave Casadonna its own identity while keeping it rooted inside the Groot brand family.
01
Designed a visually distinct website inspired by Casadonna’s coastal Italian atmosphere and refined interiors
02
Built mobile-first reservation flows that reduced friction and captured demand more efficiently
03
Prioritized fast load times, responsive performance, and ongoing optimization for a high-traffic audience
04
Maintained alignment with Groot’s portfolio-wide standards while preserving Casadonna’s individuality
04

Launch direction

Make it feel less like a restaurant site and more like an arrival.

The site was designed to establish Casadonna as both part of a powerful hospitality ecosystem and a destination in its own right.

Every touchpoint needed to feel polished, current, and tied to the lifestyle around the brand.

01
Used design and UX to translate atmosphere into digital form
02
Made the reservation journey feel effortless without flattening the brand’s premium identity
03
Positioned the site as an active part of the brand experience, not just a booking utility
05

The outcome

Casadonna launched with a digital presence that matched the ambition of the brand and the expectations of the market.
01
Established a high-performing website for one of Miami’s most anticipated dining destinations
02
Elevated digital storytelling in a way that reflected both Groot’s standard of excellence and Casadonna’s distinct identity
03
Reinforced Casadonna’s role as both a cultural hotspot and culinary landmark within the Groot portfolio
When a destination opens with momentum, the digital experience has to carry that same charge.
